Rhodiola, a favorite of cosmonauts, was studied extensively in the Soviet Union for benefits in supporting stamina under prolonged stress.
Studies have looked at the effects of rhodiola as it relates to physical activity and endurance. In one study, participants taking 200 mg of rhodiola over a four-week period showed improvements in VO2 max, which refers to the maximum amount of oxygen a person can utilize during intense exercise. These findings indicate that rhodiola may improve exercise capacity.*

Thoughtfully harvested
Our Rhodiola is extracted from the plant’s root using purified water and food-grade ethanol, to avoid harsh solvents. The extraction output is then concentrated, dried, and analyzed. The powder is then shipped to the United States, where it is tested by a third party and encapsulated.
Our Rhodiola rosea is made from the plant of the same name, collected in the Altai Mountains of Siberia. From May through September, collectors search the mountains for plants of five years or older, thus ensuring a balance of the root's constituents.
